Our Story

Tookta's has been bringing the warmth and flavour of authentic Thai cooking to Brighton's Spring Street for years. What started as a passion for sharing the food of home has grown into one of Brighton's best-loved neighbourhood restaurants.

Every dish on our menu is inspired by traditional Thai recipes — slow-simmered curries, wok-tossed noodles, fragrant soups and fresh, punchy salads. We use quality ingredients, fresh aromatics and spices to deliver the real, unapologetic flavour of Thailand.

Our restaurant is small, intimate and full of character. The walls are painted the same vivid blue as our shopfront, lit by warm Edison bulbs and adorned with Thai artwork and a beautiful Buddha garden. Come in — you're always welcome here.
